William Hefner, AIA

Architect William Hefner is a fifth generation Californian. Realizing his passion for residential design early in his career, he founded his own firm in Los Angeles with an emphasis on architecture, interior design, and landscape for homes.

Over the years, the venture grew into what is now Studio William Hefner: a firm that creates custom homes that engage the lush environment and channel the California ethos. His work has expanded to include custom furniture, lighting and hardware design.

Studio William Hefner’s treatise is to create homes that inspire, nurture, and transform the lives of the families who inhabit them. Hefner passionately advocates that the hands-on human element of craftsmanship is essential to bringing a home to life.

Peter Zakas

Co-Founder, with his brother Spiros Zakas, Peter is the current President of Z-Space Design Inc., a hospitality design firm which specialized in restaurant and hotel projects for almost 40 years with over 2,000 installations to their credit.

Peter’s vision  is unique to the hospitality design industry by creating enduring, timeless and classic designs that are both emotionally and visually appealing, plus extremely functional and profitable. Along with these lines, Peter has developed a scientific, big picture vision for their clients, prior to the detailed design execution. Peter and his team research hotel and restaurant concepts very technically. They begin with studying the demographics, analyzing menu direction, space and traffic flow, plus other crucial elements necessary to provide designs that are ongoing profit centers for the long haul. Roger Thomas

Roger Thomas is executive vice president design for Wynn Design and Development. He created the interiors of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. He led the interior design of Wynn Macau and designed Encore Macau. Mr Thomas is currently developing designs for Wynn Cotai.

Mr. Thomas was senior vice president and director of interior design for Atlandia Design, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mirage Resorts Incorporated. For 20 years, he designed the interiors of the company’s many properties, including the Golden Nugget hotels in Las Vegas and Laughlin, and the most important properties on the Las Vegas Strip, the Mirage, Treasure Island and the world-famous Bellagio Resort.

While a recognized leader in interior design for the hospitality industry, Mr. Thomas has also designed corporate offices and aircraft interiors, as well as the private residences of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen A. Wynn.

In 2008 Mr Thomas was named Designer of the Year at The International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS) in New York. In February 2009, Mr Thomas received the 2009 Design Icon distinction from the World Market Center in Las Vegas, and in November 2009, he received the Jay Sarno lifetime achievement award at the G2E expo in recognition of his significant career achievements in the field of casino resort interior design. In 2010 Mr Thomas received the Excellence in Design award from the Interior Designers Institute. In 2012 he was inducted as an icon by the Art Academy University of San Francisco. Susanna Salk

Susanna Salk

Susanna Salk grew up in Essex, Massachusetts and got her B.A. in English at Vassar College. She helped launch Elle Decor magazine as Interior Design Manager and later became a Contributing Editor there before ultimately going on to become Special Projects Editor at House and Garden magazine until its closing.

Nathan Turner

Kathryn M. Ireland

Kathryn M. Ireland is a British-born, Los Angeles based interiors and textile designer. She is the author of four books including Summers in France (April 2011, Gibbs Smith) and the recently released Timeless Interiors (October 2012, Gibbs Smith). Ireland also stars in Bravo TV’s hit program Million Dollar Decorators, which recently completed its second season. The show follows Ireland as she creates stylish homes for her clientele of celebrities and tastemakers, which have included Steve Martin, Robert Zemeckis, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Arianna Huffington. In addition to her thriving interior design practice, Ireland launched her first collection of signature fabrics in 1997 and since then and has released over 50 patterns produced at Ireland’s own print shop in Los Angeles. Her textile collections are available through her eponymous showrooms in West Hollywood, California and London, England and other notable retailers and showrooms around the world. Bill Strang

Bill serves as President of the Americas’ Operations for TOTO USA and Chairman of TOTO Mexico. In these capacities, he is responsible for all TOTO’s North American operations— including supply chain, design and development engineering, quality, ISO, environmental resource management, and management of TOTO’s five North American plants: Morrow, GA; Lakewood, GA; Fairburn, GA; Ontario, CA, Monterrey, Mexico, for a total of 1.8 million square feet under roof.

Victoria, a Chicago native, moved to Las Vegas to attend college at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Victoria started her career at Christopher Homes in Nevada, designing and creating custom interiors for affluent residences before launching her interior design firm, Alison Victoria Interiors, in 2003.

Since founding her firm, Victoria has successfully launched her own line of modern luxury furniture, and worked with top clients such as the Silverton Casino Hotel in Las Vegas where she was hired as creative director and oversaw its $160 million expansion. In 2011 Victoria received the Rising Stars of BusinessAward by the Las Vegas Press, and named one of Chicago Crain‘s 40 under 40 in 2014.

Victoria is currently the host of the DIY Network’s show Kitchen Crashers and has been featured in publications including the Washington Post, Vegas Magazine, Chicago Home and Garden, Luxury Home Quarterly, and People Magazine. Victoria will also be featured on Travel Channel’s Hotel Impossible. Victoria is currently a resident of both Las Vegas and Chicago and is actively involved in donating her time to non-profit organizations such as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, PAWS Chicago and Chicago Children’s Charities.


Kevin Litt

Kevin Litt is Adornably’s Chief Operating Officer, providing consumers the ability to easily visualize three dimensional, photorealistic furniture scaled to their rooms with unprecedented ease.

Kevin grew up in Los Angeles and has been in the furniture business since birth, inhabiting all the key roles in the business including retailer, designer, and manufacturer. The son of antique dealers, he has been buying and selling antiques all around the world as early as he can remember. Shortly after graduating from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with degrees in Finance and Information Systems, Kevin moved to Asia to open furniture factories specializing in building high end residential furniture “the old fashioned way.” After moving back to the states, he runs his retail stores in Los Angeles as well as travels around the world consulting and designing with the top manufacturers and retailers in the business focusing on their business practices, product design, and technology.


Henry Lien

Henry Lien, JD, UCLA School of Law, BA, Brown University. Mr. Lien teaches a series of courses on interior design law in the Architecture and Interior Design Department at UCLA Extension. Mr. Lien practiced as a business attorney for ten years and was involved in cases pertaining to architecture, interior design, and construction. He is the owner/director of Glass Garage Fine Art Gallery in Hollywood and Santa Monica, with interior designers comprising a significant portion of his clientele. Mr. Lien has also served as the President of the West Hollywood Fine Art Gallery Association and as a board member of the West Hollywood Avenues of Art and Design.


Jeanine Hays and Bryan Mason

AphroChic began in 2007 – the brainchild of husband-and-wife team Jeanine Hays and Bryan Mason. Originally taking shape as an interior design blog, AphroChic became a place for Jeanine, a former policy attorney, and Bryan, a Ph.D. student, to escape the stresses of work and share their passion for culture and design.  Offering home decor products inspired by cultures around the globe, AphroChic sets out to prove that ethnic heritage and culture can go hand in hand with the luxurious and the modern. Patrick Dragonette

Patrick Dragonette established his eponymous showroom in Los Angeles in 1997. In the ensuing years, Dragonette Ltd has become one of the country’s top resources for high-end mid 20th-century design, including furniture, art and accessories, and has made a name for itself as a go-to source for designers across the country. Dragonette Ltd has made the works of William Haines a specialty, and Patrick has become a well-versed student of Haines’ work. Dragonette Ltd’s offerings have expanded in recent years to include Dragonette Private Label, a collection of pieces with a modern mid-century bent designed by Patrick, as well as vintage jewelry, primarily vintage couture costume and runway pieces from the 1980’s/90’s. In addition to curating the shop, Dragonette also tackles the role of interior designer, and has helmed several important commissions, including the orchestration of an astonishing collection of mid-century pieces for a Hal Levitt house in Trousdale Estates. “My approach,” says Dragonette, “is to seek simplicity of shape and design, matched by genuine comfort.


Sandra Espinet

Sandra Espinet, interior designer and lifelong traveler, is a mix-master of eclectic convergence, specializing in the fearless melding of exotic elements with traditional furnishings. Summer Kath

Summer Kath leads Product Development, Business Development, and Events Marketing initiatives for Cambria in North America. She is a hands-on, results-oriented executive with strengths in interior design, relationship development and marketing strategy. On a daily basis, she directs the company’s brand advocates and alliance partnerships, as well as their public engagements.

Highlights of Summer’s 12-year career include the development and launch of the most trend-setting quartz designs in the industry. Summer has been a part of the Cambria marketing team since its inception and has contributed to the development and growth of the Cambria brand starting in Minneapolis. Today, Cambria is a leading North American brand.
In 2008, Summer lead the opening of the Toronto market, where Cambria has enjoyed steadily increasing sales and recognition for its Cambria Studio – Toronto opening and operations.

Helene Hollub

Helene Hollub is the Executive Vice President, Principal of Hollub Homes, Inc. which is recognized as a premier building and design company of South Florida. She has been a leader in building and design for over 25 years. Hollub Homes reputation is second to none in the industry.
Helene’s designs have been featured in multiple publications such as Florida Design Magazine and Kitchen and Bath Magazine and several television design shows including HGTV. She has won dozens of design awards including Best of Show for the South Florida BEST Awards. She was named “Taste Maker” by the Onare kick off party for the internationally renowned Art Basel Exposition.
With life as her palette of colors, Helene continues to design some of the most amazing custom home exteriors/interiors in South Florida. She attributes the need of overall continuity as the link to giving a homeowner a true sense of the inside and outside of their home “working together.” And to think, all of this started in 1986 with Helene going to job sites and coming away with what she says is a “slightly different perspective on how she would have done it.”

Aaron Danzig

Aaron Danzig currently serves as Director of Business Development for Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where he is responsible for the company’s marketing to the trade. As a branding strategist, he has been instrumental in developing the WSI Designer Marketplace trade program, and is co-creator of, Williams-Sonoma’s online content site dedicated to kitchen design and inspiration. Prior to his tenure at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., Aaron was partner in a Boston-based branding strategy consultancy, where his client work consisted of consumer, industrial, and not-for-profit brands. Aaron holds an MBA from Duke University, and currently resides in San Francisco’s Mission district.


Cliff Fong

Cliff Fong was born in New York and has had a diverse upbringing residing in many countries around the world but is happy to call Los Angeles his home. He has been part of this fertile design community for two decades as an interior designer, fashion designer and entrepreneur. As a fashion buyer, stylist and designer, he worked with Ron Herman and Maxfield amongst other international retailers and luxury brands. In 2004 he cofounded an artisanal unisex collection, Chatav Ectabit, with Sandy Dalal. As an interior designer, he creates unique, personal and often unexpected environments, drawing from various inspirations. His work is largely residential but also includes many notable commercial spaces such as Madison Gallery, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent, night spot H. Wood and Michael Voltaggio’s Ink restaurant. In 2009, with partners, he opened Galerie Half, a sprawling emporium of 20th century design, European antiques, architectural elements and art.

Prior to joining Clifford, Bryan was the Associate Vice President for Zirh Skin Nutrition, a prestige-level men’s skin care line in New York. Jason Clark

Jason Clark has been in the plumbing industry for over 14 years.  He currently serves as Hansgrohe’s primary technical trainer. Jason is responsible for creating technical training presentations, presentation delivery in a classroom setting offered at Hansgrohe for plumbing contractors as well as Hansgrohe staff and all field training activities. He has been a  Hansgrohe Technical Service Representative for two years. Much of his work consists of troubleshooting product issues for plumbing contractors and homeowners. Jason has many years experience previously working as a field superintendent for a plumbing contractor; responsible for codes and approval compliance. Prior to that, Jason worked as a plumber’s apprentice.
